Eng: ECESBF Successfully Concludes Its Final Conference at TSUE

On September 17-18, 2025, the Erasmus Centre of Excellence in Sustainable Business and Finance (ECESBF) successfully held its final international conference at Tashkent State University of Economics. The two-day event became a landmark platform to present the Centre’s achievements, share international experience, and discuss the future of sustainable business and finance in Uzbekistan and beyond.

The conference brought together high-level representatives from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of Uzbekistan, the Delegation of the European Union to Uzbekistan, the Agency for Strategic Reforms under the President of Uzbekistan, as well as experts from European partner universities, local and international organizations, and the business community.

During the sessions, participants reviewed the key results of the ECESBF project:

• integration of sustainability and digitalisation into higher education curricula,

• development of innovative teaching methodologies and new courses,

• creation of a unique database and policy recommendations for sustainable finance and digital transformation,

• training of more than 750 university students and over 300 school students, who gained valuable knowledge on sustainability and the EU experience.

Special attention was given to carbon credit systems, sustainable finance strategies, and digital transformation tools, with participants exploring both European practices and Uzbekistan’s prospects in these fields. At the closing session, ECESBF also presented a practical guide on Green Finance, designed to make sustainability principles accessible not only to academics but also to policymakers, businesses, and the wider community.

The final conference demonstrated that ECESBF has become more than a project – it is a lasting academic and cooperation platform that connects Uzbekistan with the European Union, strengthens educational excellence, and contributes to the country’s sustainable development.

Uz: 2025-yil 17–18-sentabr kunlari ECESBF markazi o‘zining yakuniy xalqaro konferensiyasini Toshkent davlat iqtisodiyot universitetida muvaffaqiyatli o‘tkazdi.

Ikki kun davom etgan ushbu tadbir markaz yutuqlarini taqdim etish, xalqaro tajriba almashish hamda O‘zbekistonda va undan tashqarida barqaror biznes va moliya sohasining kelajagini muhokama qilish uchun muhim platformaga aylandi.

Konferensiyada O‘zbekiston Oliy ta’lim, fan va innovatsiyalar vazirligi, Yevropa Ittifoqining O‘zbekistondagi delegatsiyasi, Prezident huzuridagi Strategik islohotlar agentligi, shuningdek, Yevropaning hamkor universitetlari, mahalliy va xalqaro tashkilotlar hamda biznes hamjamiyat vakillari ishtirok etdilar.

Sessiyalar davomida ishtirokchilar ECESBF loyihasining asosiy natijalarini ko‘rib chiqdilar:

• barqarorlik va raqamlashtirishni oliy ta’lim dasturlariga integratsiya qilish,

• innovatsion o‘qitish metodologiyalari va yangi kurslarni ishlab chiqish,

• barqaror moliya va raqamli transformatsiya bo‘yicha noyob ma’lumotlar bazasi hamda siyosiy tavsiyalar yaratish,

• 750 dan ortiq universitet talabalari va 300 dan ziyod maktab o‘quvchilarini tayyorlash — ular barqarorlik va Yevropa tajribasi bo‘yicha muhim bilimlarga ega bo‘ldilar.

Konferensiyada karbon kredit tizimlari, barqaror moliya strategiyalari va raqamli transformatsiya vositalariga alohida e’tibor qaratildi. Ishtirokchilar Yevropa tajribasi bilan bir qatorda O‘zbekistonning ushbu yo‘nalishlardagi imkoniyatlarini ham muhokama qildilar. Yopilish sessiyasida ECESBF “Yashil moliya bo‘yicha amaliy qo‘llanma”ni taqdim etdi. Ushbu qo‘llanma barqarorlik tamoyillarini nafaqat akademiklar, balki siyosatchilar, biznes vakillari va keng jamoatchilik uchun ham yanada tushunarli qilishga qaratilgan.

Yakuniy konferensiya ECESBFning oddiy loyiha emas, balki O‘zbekiston va Yevropa Ittifoqini bog‘lovchi, ta’lim sifatini oshirish hamda mamlakatning barqaror rivojlanishiga hissa qo‘shuvchi mustahkam akademik va hamkorlik platformasiga aylanganini yaqqol namoyon etdi.
